CONNECTING YOUR LIFE TO YOUR MONEY
-
HERE’S LOOKING AT YOU, KID.
It’s time to change your focus.
You spend a large part of your life putting others first, so it may not be easy to see things in a way where you become the hero of your own story.
Sometimes you need to explore the complexity around you in order to reveal the simplicity of what your next step looks like. It’s not about removing all of the trees, it’s about planning a path through the forest.
A JOURNEY OF CONNECTION
The things we value most in life are not money-filled… they’re meaning-full.
We’re not here to amass piles of money. For our lives to have meaning, we need to be intentional about relationships that are impactful and life-giving.
How you decide to work with your money is inextricably linked to these relationships. Seeing this connection is not always easy, you need an advocate to support your life values and tie them to your financial goals.
This journey of connection changes with every life transition that we grow through.

FINANCIAL LIFE PLANNING
“Don’t explain your philosophy. Embody it.” - Epictetus
P
Priorities
Financial Life Planning starts with you and your values at the center of our conversations. These shape your priorities and help us articulate what you believe to be truly meaningful.
P
Perspectives
Your own perspectives of what you find purposeful, how you feel about money and what you want to accomplish in life are foundational to a plan that is centered around you. The kinds of experiences that you value and the future you look forward to are all important to your financial life plan.

ACKNOWLEDGING LIFE TRANSITIONS
We never stop learning. We never stop changing.
With every change in life, we experience a transition. These could be planned transitions (like the birth of a child, or getting married) - but most often we find that transitions are not planned (like the loss of a parent or spouse, divorce or a retrenchment).
The list of life transitions is extensive, but essentially a transition brings about anxiety, new fears and lots of stress. Transitional financial planning gives us the tools to deal with both the financial change and the human experience of adapting to change.
PROTECTING YOUR FAMILY
“You have power over your mind - not outside events. Realize this, and you will find strength.” - Marcus Aurelius
It doesn’t matter to us what your profession is, what matters is that you care for something more than just yourself.
The minute you see this, you realize that you have more invested in life and the world around you than can be simply represented in numbers and formulas on a spreadsheet.
The complexity can be overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be all-consuming. Together we will create the protection and mindset that you need to face your future with strength.
ARE YOU READY TO TAKE THE NEXT STEP?
“Whatever can happen at any time, can happen today.” - Seneca
Please feel free to call, email or book below and set up a complimentary introduction meeting. We will enjoy about an hour together (phone, video, or in-person) where you can discuss what’s on your mind and learn more about us and how we may be able to help you.
You get the opportunity to determine if we are the right people for you. At the end of the meeting, if we all agree that there is a good fit, we will move forward.
Ultimately, you are our client, not your money. We don’t receive commissions for selling financial products or any other inducement from third parties. We earn our compensation through an agreement based on the value provided to you and paid by you on a fixed fee or percentage-of-assets basis.
We feel this eliminates any conflicts-of-interest that are traditionally present in financial planning relationships and allows us to place you and your financial life goals, not your money, at the center of our relationship.
